#2 – Looks like I drew the same sketch for #2 and #3.  Weird brain fart, there.  Let’s see.  Here’s the pic for #2:

Looks like NO absolute Max.  The absolute min is at x = 4 -> (4, 1)

Local Max @ (3, 4) and (6, 3).

I would probably call the point at (7, 2) a local min, but I’m not sure we count those on the boundaries of the domain.  Checking…

Yes, it qualifies as a local minimum, even though there’s nothing going on to the right of that point.  The function is higher, everywhere near that point @ (7, 2).
